Colors of the River Workshop

EXPERIENCE

‘Colors of the River’ was created to be one of many activities taking place during an event that celebrated our rivers. It was located on the banks of the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota.

In addition to a vine charcoal demonstration, everyone was invited to play with natural inks that were created from materials collected along the Mississippi River and Willow River. There were “coloring pages” available which were block-printed from grapevine charcoal.
