‘Bite Back’ was created to encourage folks to learn about invasive species while interacting with them AND having a bit of fun. It was a one-night community event designed to include education and a hands-on activity.

People were encouraged to bring a dish that included an invasive species ingredient. A presentation about invasive species followed a screen printing activity where participants created and printed their own invasive plant design on a handkerchief.

A collaboration with Friends of the Mississippi River, Water Bar and Emily Sauer
