Place-based Palettes

This is what I call a range of colors sourced from plants and minerals in a very specific area, as a way tell a story about this place and time.

Through the practice of creating place-based palettes, I to get to build a relationship with a place. I start to see patterns, witnessing when certain plants bloom and berries ripen. I see how extreme weather, such as droughts and high temperatures, impact this life, and start to think about how this impacts other life that is connected as well.
